เชลล์ ตอกย้ำความเป็นผู้นำด้านความปลอดภัย สานต่อกิจกรรมความปลอดภัยทางถนน บูรณาการผ่านสื่อดิจิทัล มุ่งสร้างสังคมปลอดภัยอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

นายปนันท์ ประจวบเหมาะ ประธานกรรมการ บริษัท เชลล์แห่งประเทศไทย จำกัด กล่าวว่า “เชลล์มีวัฒนธรรมความปลอดภัยที่เข้มแข็ง ซึ่งใช้เป็นหลักในการทำงานและการดำเนินชีวิตประจำวัน เรียกได้ว่าอยู่ใน Hearts and Minds ด้วยเล็งเห็นถึงประโยชน์และความสำคัญของความปลอดภัย เราสนับสนุนการส่งต่อวัฒนธรรมนี้สู่สังคมวงกว้าง ทำงานร่วมกับพันธมิตรหลักคือ มูลนิธิสร้างเสริมความปลอดภัยในเด็ก และสถาบันแห่งชาติเพื่อการพัฒนาเด็กและครอบครัว มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ออกแบบสื่อการสอนดิจิทัลและกิจกรรมให้ความรู้เรื่องความปลอดภัยแก่เยาวชน ภายใต้หัวข้อ “8 ทักษะความปลอดภัยทางท้องถนน” ผ่านการจัดอบรมที่โรงเรียนและสถานศึกษาต่างๆ รวมถึงการขยายฐานเยาวชนผู้เข้าร่วมผ่านช่องทางออนไลน์ และกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ที่ศูนย์การเรียนรู้ Safety Hunter สถาบันแห่งชาติเพื่อการพัฒนาเด็กและครอบครัว มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล โดยเชลล์ตั้งเป้าอบรมนักเรียนจำนวน 5,000 คนภายในปีนี้ เริ่มจากเขตพื้นที่โดยรอบมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล พื้นที่บางกระเจ้า โรงเรียนภายใต้โครงการเชลล์เติมสุข (Shell Fuel The Happiness) และโรงเรียนอื่น ๆ ซึ่งอยู่ในพื้นที่ที่เชลล์ให้การสนับสนุนอย่างต่อเนื่อง เราหวังว่าความรู้จากการอบรมในครั้งนี้ จะช่วยสร้างความตระหนักรู้ พร้อมปลูกฝังวัฒนธรรมเรื่องความปลอดภัยในการเดินทางให้กับเด็กๆ ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่การปฏิบัติ เพื่อยกระดับความปลอดภัยให้แก่สังคมโดยรวม โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์ที่มีการเดินทางสัญจรหนาแน่น”

รศ. นพ.อดิศักดิ์ ผลิตผลการพิมพ์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์วิจัยเพื่อสร้างเสริมความปลอดภัยและป้องกันการบาดเจ็บในเด็ก มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล หัวหน้าโครงการความร่วมมือครั้งนี้ กล่าวเสริม “การสร้างการตระหนักรู้ถึงความสำคัญของความปลอดภัยบนท้องถนนและการให้ความรู้ที่ถูกต้อง จะช่วยให้เด็กและเยาวชนสามารถป้องกันตนเองจากการเกิดอุบัติเหตุได้ รวมถึงลดผลกระทบจากอุบัติเหตุที่ไม่คาดคิดได้ โครงการ School Road Safety ที่สถาบันฯ ได้ร่วมกับเชลล์ ออกแบบโปรแกรม Road Safety Challenge รวมถึงกิจกรรม 8 ทักษะความปลอดภัยทางถนน จะมีการวัดระดับความรู้ก่อนอบรมและหลังอบรม เพื่อประเมินผลความรู้ความเข้าใจ นอกจากเกมที่เยาวชนทุกคนสามารถเล่นได้บนแพลตฟอร์มออนไลน์แล้ว ในการจัดอบรมที่สถานศึกษายังมีฐานกิจกรรมให้นักเรียนได้ทดลองและฝึกฝนเรื่องความปลอดภัยในการเดินทาง อย่างเช่น การสวมหมวกกันน็อคที่ถูกต้อง การคาดเข็มขัดนิรภัยที่ถูกต้อง หรือการเดินข้ามถนนที่ถูกต้อง เป็นต้น และที่ศูนย์การเรียนรู้ Safety Hunter จะเป็นเสมือนห้องเรียนรู้สำหรับกิจกรรมด้านความปลอดภัยในทุกๆ ด้าน เยาวชนทุกคนจะสามารถมาเรียนรู้ผ่านสถานการณ์จำลองและเกมต่างๆ ได้ กระตุ้นให้เกิดการอยากเรียนรู้และจดจำ เพื่อนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน”
