เชลล์ เปิดตัว เชลล์ ฟิวเซฟ ดีเซล บี10 สูตรใหม่ สนับสนุนนโยบายรัฐ ช่วยเหลือเกษตรกรปาล์มน้ำมัน

นายสนธิรัตน์ สนธิจิรวงศ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพลังงาน กล่าวว่า “ การที่กระทรวงพลังงานกำหนด นโนบายในการใช้น้ำมันดีเซล บี10 ให้เป็นน้ำมันเกรดมาตรฐาน นับเป็นนโยบายด้านพลังงานที่สำคัญของประเทศไทย เพื่อสร้างสมดุลปาล์มน้ำมันในประเทศ นอกจากนี้ผู้บริโภคยังจะได้ใช้น้ำมันในราคาที่ถูกลง ช่วยประเทศลดการนำเข้าน้ำมันจากต่างประเทศ ทั้งนี้ กระทรวงพลังงานมีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่บริษัทพลังงานและน้ำมันระดับโลก เช่น บริษัท เชลล์ เข้าร่วมเป็นพันธมิตรการจำหน่ายน้ำมันดีเซล บี10 ในครั้งนี้ ทำให้มั่นใจได้ว่าผู้บริโภคจะได้ใช้น้ำมันดีเซล บี10 ที่มีคุณภาพระดับโลก รวมถึงสามารถเข้าถึงน้ำมันดีเซล บี10 ได้อย่างทั่วถึง พร้อมกันนี้กระทรวงพลังงานขอเรียนเชิญให้ผู้บริโภคใช้น้ำมันดีเซล บี10 ด้วยความมั่นใจ ทั้งนี้กระทรวงพลังงานจะกำกับดูแล ตรวจสอบคุณภาพน้ำมันตั้งแต่กระบวนการผลิตจนถึงการจำหน่ายที่สถานีบริการน้ำมันอย่างต่อเนื่อง”

นายปนันท์ ประจวบเหมาะ ประธานกรรมการ บริษัท เชลล์แห่งประเทศไทย จำกัด กล่าว “ในฐานะผู้นำในธุรกิจพลังงานและน้ำมันระดับโลก เชลล์ได้สนับสนุนนโยบายรัฐโดยการเดินหน้าขับเคลื่อนนโยบายเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงทางพลังงานควบคู่ไปกับการดูแลสิ่งแวดล้อมและสนับสนุนเกษตรกรปาล์มน้ำมันอย่างต่อเนื่อง ด้วยการใช้พลังงานหมุนเวียนโดยการเพิ่มสัดส่วนการใช้ Bio component ทั้งเรื่องไบโอดีเซล และเอทานอล ซึ่งเหมาะสมกับประเทศไทยที่มีศักยภาพในการผลิต Bio Fuel เพื่อสร้างความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีแก่เกษตรกร โดยน้ำมันไบโอดีเซลที่เชลล์จำหน่ายนั้นมาจากน้ำมันปาล์มที่ได้มาตรฐานการรับรองการผลิตน้ำมันปาล์มอย่างยั่งยืน (RSPO) ซึ่งช่วยดูแลทั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจและสิ่งแวดล้อมให้ดีขึ้น สำหรับการเปิดตัวน้ำมันเชลล์ ฟิวเซฟ ดีเซล บี10 สูตรใหม่ ในวันนี้เป็นอีกหนึ่งความมุ่งมั่นของเชลล์ในการขับเคลื่อนการเดินหน้าสู่การเปลี่ยนผ่านพลังงานที่ยั่งยืน โดยเชลล์ยังได้ร่วมมือกับพันธมิตรค่ายรถยนต์ จัดทำรายชื่อรถที่รองรับน้ำมันดีเซล บี 10 และนำมาให้ความรู้แก่ผู้บริโภคในสถานีบริการน้ำมัน รวมถึงพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจเช่น เคอรี่ เอ็กซ์เพรส (ประเทศไทย) และฟาร์มเฮ้าส์ ในการใช้น้ำมันเชลล์ ฟิวเซล ดีเซล บี10 ในรถกระบะที่ใช้ในการดำเนินธุรกิจด้วย”
