Applying for Shell GO+ membership or transferring accounts from Shell ClubSmart, delivery riders will receive 3-step privileges including COVID-19 insurance and 250 points for new membership entry, and bonus points when filling up with any type of fuel or having engine oil changed at Shell stations nationwide.

Bangkok – The Onwards with Thai Foundation, established by employees of the Shell Company of Thailand Limited, realizes an urgent need to aid those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially residents of Bangkok’s Khlong Toei district, a community which has long stood with Shell Thailand. Led by Mr. Thanes Rajatapiti (left), President of the Onwards with Thai Foundation and Regional GM Bitumen – Asia, Middle East, the foundation donated essential food items including rice, instant noodles, canned goods, and eggs, as well as face masks and sanitizers, worth 250,000 baht, to1,050 households in the Wat Khlong Toei Community 1, 2, and 3. As a “Trusted Partner for Better Life”, all Shell employees are committed to standing by the society — making positive contributions to the people’s safety and wellbeing through the company’s “Powering Life” mindset. The Shell employees are proud to be another taskforce that alleviates the impact of the pandemic for residents in the nearby communities, ultimately helping society overcome this adversity.

Bangkok - The Shell Company of Thailand Limited (Shell Thailand) welcomed the final 6 teams of “Imagine the Future Scenarios Competition 2021 Thailand” or ITF 2021 to the Bootcamp, where the talented young people were groomed by experts from various local and international organizations including depa on various aspects including “Sky 1.5” Shell Scenario, under the “Powering Progress” strategic goal. The finalists were challenged to find models that facilitate energy transition, mobility, daily life, and future city models in 2050, to win the Baht 50,000 prize and represent Thailand in an international competition.

Bangkok, Thailand – The Shell Company of Thailand Limited is underlining its stance as a safety leader. Shell has embedded safety into its culture, and this commitment has led to active community engagement in the form of comprehensive safety promotion programmes. These programmes range from educating young people to developing safe driving skills for professional truck drivers. We started this year with the continuation of the ‘Shell School Road Safety’ programme to raise youth awareness on how to use safety kits properly in order to travel safely during school breaks and the Songkran Festival. Shell is partnering with the Child Safety Promotion Foundation and National Institute for Child and Family Development, Mahidol University, to design road safety training sessions with digital applications – ultimately increasing the accessibility of these training sessions while also placing special attention on the format and content to be more adaptable to the daily lives of our target groups. The programme also cultivates consciousness of road safety in youths to elevate safety standards in the society.

Bangkok – The Shell Company of Thailand Limited, in collaboration with BMW Group Thailand, invites all to experience the future of lower carbon energy solutions, by introducing “Shell Recharge,” a rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging facility for the first time in Thailand at the Shell station on Kanchanaphisek Road. The EV charger is the joint effort between two leading global companies—Shell, a leader in the energy business, and BMW, a leading auto manufacturer—to support Thailand’s E-Mobility system in response to the need for energy sustainability and the increasing domestic demand for electric cars. This new service allows drivers to charge their cars on the go at Shell’s flagship service station.

For the fourth consecutive year, the competition will offer youth a stage to challenge their vision and imagination by presenting their own future city scenarios and how the energy plays role in people’s living. This year, 62 teams from Thai and overseas universities will participate, with six teams progressing to a Bootcamp where one winner will be selected to receive a prize of 50,000 baht and the right to represent Thailand on the international stage.

The Relief and Community Health Bureau of the Thai Red Cross Society have urgently sent relief aid and care to residents living in flood-affected areas of southern Thailand, providing flood emergency kits, manpower, and support from partners to ease the situation and help accelerate recovery.
