Premium quality engine lubricants with high alkalinity (TBN=100) suitable for low-speed cross-head engines burning residual fuels with sulphur level above 4%. Available in viscosity grade SAE 50.
Shell Alexia Oil
Cylinder lubricant for low-speed cross-head engines burning residual fuels having sulphur content in the range 1.0 to 3.5% by weight. Total base number is 70. Available in viscosity grade SAE 50.
Shell Argina Oil XL
High performance medium-speed trunk-piston lubricants with residual burning engines used in power generation or marine propulsion engines. Especially suitable for low oil consumption engines. Total base number is 50. Argina Oil XL is approved by Wartsila Diesel for use in engine series 46and all smaller engines.
Shell Argina Oil X
Similar to Shell Argina Oil XL but with lower total base number of 40. Available in viscosity grade SAE 40.
Shell Argina Oil T
Developed for engines burning blended residual fuels of high sulphur content, it gives outstanding oxidation and thermal stability. Suitable for engines burning residuals fuels with sulphur levels of 1.5 to 3.5%. Total base 40. Available in viscosity grade SAE 30 and SAE 40.
Shell Gadinia Oils
Developed for high-speed trunk-piston engines burning distillate fuels. It ensures minimum engine wear and freedom from sludge and deposit formation in these applications. Available in viscosity grade SAE 30 and SAE 40.
Shell Melina Oils
Premium quality multi-purpose system oils designed for low-speed cross-head engines operating on residual fuels. Total base number is 8. Approved by Sulzer and MAN B&W for cross-head marine engines. Available in viscosity grade SAE 20, SAE 30 and SAE 40.
